To celebrate Piano Day, Florian Christl has dropped his debut album Inspiration, and along with it new single ‘Close Your Eyes’, which we are proud to premiere. The track, as with the album, is a testament to all that Christl has achieved over the last few years, despite not ever being formally trained in composition or piano. His journey started in a small town in Bavaria where he first learned the piano, from which his passion eventually led him to partner with Sony Classical. ‘Close Your Eyes’ is a perfect example of how far Christl has come, with rich instrumentation playing counterpoint to haunting piano melodies and sonorous soundscapes.
